Job Description

Vision Profiles are now looking for 2 people to join production / fabrication operatives in operations team to support 2 important projects . The successful candidate will be dependable, flexible, have a willingness to learn and a keen eye for detail. Previous manufacturing experience is essential and CNC operation is desirable, but training will be provided.

Handling profiles - loading & offloading machinery, including saws and CNC machines

Profiles packaging , cleaning and inspecting as per job requirement

Quality and dimensional inspection

Operating machinery

Using hand tools, tapping arms, assembling, and packing as and when required

All of the above to be carried out in safe and efficient manner.

Following instructions from Supervisor, ensuring that all orders are completed in a timely manner in accordance with set targets.

Reading and understanding of production / work instruction is essential

Recording production data on paper and digital system

Carrying out quality checks on finished products in line with Company procedures, by using various measuring equipment.

Keeping work area clean and tidy.

Maintain adherence to all Company procedures and Legislation including Health & Safety and ISO 9001.

A continuous approach to improvement at all times.

Plus any other ad hoc duties and assisting other departments where necessary

Essential:

Readiness to develop and learn new skills.

Experience in a manufacturing, production or warehouse environment

Communicating with others in a professional manner

Perfect time keeping and attendance record

Awareness of the importance of Health and Safety.

Ability to follow written instruction and communicate with others in a timely manner.

Desirable:

Engineering background/knowledge

Experience using saws and CNC machines, preferably Elumatec.

Computer skills.

Knowledge of machine tooling.

Use of measuring equipment

Physical Requirements

Physically fit and able to lift weights up to 20kg

The role requires the employee to be standing and physically active for long periods of time.

Hours: 7.30am-5pm, Monday-Thursday , 7.30am-11.30am Friday

The salary is dependent on experience

Job Type: Full-time / temporary 2 months with possibility to go permanent if contracts continue
