Pembrokeshire Creamery Ltd (PCL) has invested 12.5 million in constructing a liquid milk bottling centre in Haverfordwest, Pembrokeshire with Phase 2 and further investment due to commence at the end of 2024. The centre is a 3,000 square meter facility that has the capacity to bottle a million litres of milk per week and will supply major supermarkets across the whole of Wales with Welsh milk. It is the only BRC Standard facility to offer Welsh Milk which is also bottled in Wales supplied solely by Welsh farmers. The Role



We are looking for a number of Production Operatives to come and join the Pembrokeshire Creamery Ltd (PCL) team where you will be based at our state-of- the art bottling factory in Haverfordwest working as part of a close team all striving towards the same ambition.

As a Production Operative you will play a crucial role in the manufacturing process by operating industry specific machinery to produce finished goods in a timely and efficient manner, carrying out regular product checks as and when required to ensure products are fit for purpose and will meet customers expectations. You will work closely with the operations team as well as the Planning and Procurement Manager to ensure the efficient flow of materials, maintaining inventory levels and helping contribute to the overall success of the production operations.

You'll be naturally friendly and want to get stuck in, working with the team to deliver great results. You'll have an enthusiastic approach and be a team player with the ability to follow instructions.

This role will operate on a rotational shift basis.

You'll Be Responsible For



Packing finished goods into industry specific containers for cold room storage.

Ensuring the correct products are stored as per industry and quality requirements.

Conduct regular quality checks to maintain product integrity and adhere to food safety standards

Working as a key member of the production team to ensure finished goods are processed in a timely and efficient manner

Perform routine inspections of working areas to maintain cleanliness and organisation

Adhere to safety and quality control standards throughout the handling and storage process.

Operate industry specific machinery as per SOP's and in line with Health and Safety Requirements

Working as part of a dynamic team to complete duties throughout the production department as and when required.

What you'll bring to the role



Forklift licence and experience is desirable

Previous experience in a similar role within a manufacturing or food processing environment is preferred although not essential as full training will be provided

Eagerness to work and self motivated

Ability to work in a fast paced environment

Good communication skills and ability to work effectively in a team
