Production Operative
Location: Watford
Salary: 23,000 - 30,000 (depending on experience) + Monthly Profit-Related Bonus
Looking to join a friendly, long-standing team in a hands-on role with great hours and real stability? Our client, a well-established and supportive local business, is seeking a new Production Operative to join their team based near Watford.
This is a fantastic opportunity for someone with previous manufacturing or production experience who enjoys physical work, follows procedures carefully, and is looking to settle into a rewarding long-term role.
Important: Please note that due to the nature of the role, it is not suitable for individuals with asthma or lifting restrictions, as you will be working with chemicals and handling items weighing up to 25kg.
Hours: Monday to Thursday 8:00am-4:00pm, Friday 8:00am-1:00pm

What You'll Be Doing:

• Accurately measuring and weighing ingredients for paint-based products
• Pumping materials into tins and sealing them
• Using calibrated weighing scales and equipment
• Carrying out quality checks and adhering to strict health & safety procedures
• Stock control and inventory tasks
• General production duties, including lifting up to 25kg when needed

What We're Looking For:

• Experience in a manufacturing or production role
• Comfortable working with chemicals and wearing full PPE
• Strong attention to detail with weights and measures
• Reliable, hardworking, and a true team player
• Clear communicator and takes pride in their work
• Physically fit and capable of manual handling duties
