Job Summary

We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Production Operator to join our dynamic team. Bespoke Composite Panels specialises in crafting advanced composite structures and panels designed for durability, precision, and performance across a wide variety of industries. They include Aerospace, Marine, Rail, Industrial Printing, and Automotive. Our products are engineered to meet unique specifications, making them ideal for applications requiring strength, lightweight construction, and versatility.

Duties

Utilise basic composite lay-up techniques to manufacture lightweight composite sandwich structures, using an array of different materials from Aluminium Honeycomb, Foams and Nomex Honeycomb. Operate, monitor and undertaking cleaning & light maintenance activities on machinery, such as Heated Press's, Industrial Ovens, CNC Routers , and Saws. - (Training will be provided). Assist in the production of Industrial Vacuum Tables when required - (Training will be provided). Assist in the loading and unloading of goods from vehicles, amongst other yard work when required. Contribute towards to the assembly of complex structures, working to issued Engineering drawings and or instruction manuals, collaborating with Senior technical members of staff. Completion of routine department paperwork and adhering to administrative and quality inspection procedures. Some heavy lifting is required. Undertake counterbalance (forklift) truck training if required Any additional work identified as necessary for the smooth operation of the business.

Skills

Strong mechanical knowledge with the ability to troubleshoot equipment and process issues. Knowledge of composite structures and or bonding processes is advantageous. Proficient in the use of power tools and hand tools relevant to assembly tasks. Experience in warehouse operations is advantageous. Excellent attention to detail, ensuring high-quality output. Ability to work well within a team as well as independently when required. Strong organisational skills with the capacity to manage multiple tasks efficiently.
