We are looking for a Refrigeration Production Operative to join our team! This is a great opportunity to work in a growing manufacturing company.

The Production Operative will be responsible for the assembly and manufacture of goods and products within Hubbard Products, predominantly but not limited to refrigeration plants or parts associated with the equipment.

The role is responsible for the assembly or fabrication of mechanical parts, pieces, or products using a variety of tools and equipment according to required specifications in our manufacturing facility for example in one of the following departments wiring, copper shop, fabrication.

Responsibilities:



Work as a team to achieve customer quality, delivery, and cost requirements.

Ability to read, interpret, and follow design diagrams, technical drawings and schematics, specifications, bills of materials, and other written instructions or procedures to accurately assemble equipment and products.

Use handheld tools safely as well as the use and safe operation of electrical equipment where trained and/or qualified.

Performing brazing (where qualified), in line with safe working practices.

Maintain inventory of product in workstations - follow allocated works and job packs and complete on time as instructed.

Perform quality work checks to ensure the product meets quality standards prior to testing.

Identify product defects and complete appropriate documentation or report when defects are identified.

Rework and/or repair assembled equipment and products according to engineering specification changes or instructions given.

Perform all work in accordance with quality standards and established safety procedures.

Keep the workstation and surrounding area clean and tidy.

Minimise waste to control costs.

Experience:



Previous experience in a production or warehouse environment.

Previous experience in metal fabrication is preferred, but not required.

Brazing Skills are advantageous but not essential.

Wiring Skills are advantageous but not essential.

Assembly Skills are advantageous but not essential.

Ability to read blueprints, drawings, and specifications.

Ability to follow instructions and follow quality standards.
