is a major supplier of prepared chilled and frozen meals for the NHS and other markets. We are recruiting for a production operatives to work in the kitchen area from Monday to Friday from 10.00 - 18.30 ( 2 required) & 14.30 -23.00 (1 required)
As a member of the BonCulina Kitchen staff, you will primarily work in the kitchen but on occasions may be asked to work as a chiller operative. (Full personal protective equipment is provided).
Tasks within the kitchen include:
- using scales to weigh products and place in baskets/trays.
- Tray up , cook and portion products.
- Use a pastry brake to make pastry lids/bases
- start to finish operation of mash potatoes
You need to be physically fit.
Count and check stacks of product
Complete paperwork accurately and legibly
Comply with food safety regulations
(40 paid hours per week)
Starting rate is 12.30 per hour
Full time/Permanent position
Paid weekly directly into your bank
30 Days holiday per year (inclusive of 8 bank holidays).
Full training will be given to successful applicants in all working practices, Food Safety and Health & Safety at work.
Ideal Candidates will have some experience of working in kitchens or in the food manufacturing industry, but full training will be given for the right applicant.
