Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Production Operator to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong mechanical aptitude and experience with both hand and power tools. As a Production Operator, you will play a crucial role in the assembly and manufacturing processes, ensuring that products meet quality standards while adhering to safety protocols. This position is essential for maintaining efficient operations within our warehouse environment.

Responsibilities

Assemble components accurately and efficiently according to specifications. Pipe bending & mechanical assembly of sample systems using compression fittings. Utilise hand tools and power tools for assembly tasks, ensuring proper usage and safety measures are followed. Conduct quality checks on finished products to ensure compliance with company standards. Collaborate with team members to optimise production processes and resolve any issues that may arise during operations. Maintain a clean and organised work area, adhering to health and safety regulations.

Skills and Attributes

Proficiency in using hand tools and power tools safely and effectively. Previous assembly experience is highly desirable. Familiarity with manufacturing operations is an advantage. Strong attention to detail and commitment to producing high-quality work. Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment while also being self-motivated. Eagerness to learn & develop within the role. Ability to work under your own initiative. Ability to read and understand engineering drawings.

Experience & Education

GCSE Maths and English. BTEC, NVQ or equivalent in Engineering or Manufacturing 2-3 years' experience in similar roles is preferable PC literate & familiar with MS office applications

Work Schedule

38 hours per week between 0700-1800 Monday-Friday with negotiable start & finish time and the option of working a 9-day fortnight.
Job Type: Full-time

Pay: From 27,500.00 per year
