Role Overview



We are seeking a reliable and hardworking

Production Operative

to join our manufacturing team. This role is ideal for someone with a background in food production who is physically fit, flexible, and committed to maintaining high standards of quality, safety, and efficiency.

Working 40 hours per week, Monday - Friday 5:45am - 14:00pm

(Flexibility to cover other shifts as and when required is essential - the other shifts are 13.50pm - 22.00pm and 21.50pm - 06.00am).

Key Responsibilities



Operate production machinery and equipment safely and efficiently Follow food manufacturing processes and hygiene standards Accurately measure and weigh ingredients using basic mathematics Complete production records and documentation clearly and correctly Perform manual handling tasks, including lifting items up to 25kg as part of daily tasks Maintain a clean and safe working environment in line with Health & Safety regulations Work flexibly across different tasks and shifts as required Communicate effectively with team members and supervisors

Food Safety and Hygiene Knowledge

: Understanding and adhering to food safety regulations and hygiene standards.

Attention to Detail

: Ensuring accuracy in following recipes and maintaining quality control.

Manual Dexterity

: Handling tools and machinery efficiently.

Ability to Follow Instructions

: Accurately following recipes and production guidelines.

Teamwork and Communication

: Working effectively with others and communicating clearly.

Physically fit

: Capable of lifting up to 25kg.

Problem-Solving Skills

: Troubleshooting equipment issues or production challenges.

Good Level of Math and English

: Needed for Measurements, Documentation, and Communication.

Training

: On-the-job training is typically provided.

Compliance with Health and Safety Standards

: Ensuring all work is performed in accordance with health and safety regulations.

Flexibility and Adaptability

: Being able to adjust to changing tasks and schedules.

Experience

: Previous experience in food manufacturing or similar role/environment.
