Overview

As a Production Operative at Cornish Tea & Coffee, you will play a key role in ensuring the efficient production of our products. You will be involved in various aspects of the production process, from preparation to packaging, ensuring that all products meet our high standards of quality. Your work will directly contribute to the smooth operation of our production line and the growth of the business. We are hiring production operatives, in both full-time or part-time capacities, to join our growing team.

Key Responsibilities:

Production:

Assist in the preparation and packaging of tea and coffee products, ensuring that all tasks are completed to high-quality standards.

Quality Control:

Monitor the production process, checking for product quality and consistency, and reporting any issues to supervisors.

Equipment Operation:

Operate production machinery safely and efficiently, ensuring machines are maintained in good working order.

Inventory Management:

Assist in tracking and managing stock levels of raw materials, ensuring that sufficient supplies are available for production.

Packaging:

Package finished products according to company specifications, ensuring all products are correctly labelled and prepared for delivery.

Health & Safety:

Follow all health and safety guidelines to maintain a safe working environment and minimise the risk of accidents.

Additional Support:

Provide support in other areas of the business as needed, offering flexibility to ensure smooth operations across all departments.

Qualifications:

Experience:

Previous experience in a production or manufacturing role is desirable but not essential.

Organisational Skills:

Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment, prioritising tasks and managing time effectively.

Attention to Detail:

Strong focus on quality control, ensuring all products meet the company's high standards.

Physical Stamina:

Ability to perform physically demanding tasks, including lifting and standing for extended periods.

Team Player:

Ability to work well in a team and communicate effectively with colleagues and supervisors.
