We are now seeking a

dedicated and hardworking Production Operative

to join our team. This hands-on role is essential to ensuring our fresh produce is expertly prepared, washed, and cut to the highest standards before it reaches our valued customers.

What You'll Be Doing:

Wash, trim, peel, and cut fresh vegetables according to customer specifications and company standards Maintain high levels of cleanliness and hygiene in the preparation area Operate basic food prep equipment (where required) safely and efficiently Sort and inspect produce for quality and freshness Package and label prepared produce ready for dispatch Support the wider production and warehouse team when needed Follow all food safety, hygiene, and health & safety procedures at all times

What We're Looking For:

A reliable team player with a strong work ethic and attention to detail Comfortable working in a chilled, fast-paced environment Physically fit and able to stand for extended periods and perform manual handling Previous experience in food preparation or a production environment is ideal, but not essential -- we'll train the right person Ability to work night shifts Available for a rotating rota: one week with five working days, the next with six Positive attitude and willingness to learn and grow
