As a Machine Operator Assistant, you'll play a key role in supporting the smooth and efficient running of our Pemco Sheeter. Working alongside experienced operators, you'll help ensure our materials are produced to the highest quality standards, supporting the full production process.

Key Responsibilities

Support the operation of the Pemco Sheeter across all sections, including unwind, slit knife, and layboy Assist in setting up machines for production runs, ensuring accuracy and efficiency Maintain a clean and safe working area, following all company health and safety guidelines Monitor materials and report any quality issues promptly Work collaboratively with the production team to meet deadlines and performance targets Carry out general housekeeping and support other duties as required

Shift Pattern:

Week 1: 6:00am - 2:00pm (Monday to Friday) Week 2: 2:00pm - 10:00pm (Monday to Thursday) and 12:00pm - 6:00pm (Friday) Some roles may operate on day shift: 8:00am - 4:00pm (Monday to Thursday) and 8:00am - 3:00pm (Friday)

About You

Previous experience in a manufacturing or production environment preferred (training will be provided) Good attention to detail and commitment to producing high-quality work A team player with strong communication skills Able to work safely, follow instructions, and take initiative when needed Positive attitude and willingness to learn new skills
