Job Description

We are recruiting for Production Operatives to work on a fixed shift working Monday to Friday 09:00 - 17:00, competitive pay, from our factory in the Cotswolds. Due to the location, you must have your own transport.

Simpson & Partners produces EV chargers inspired by the natural beauty of the area and by classic British design. After working for years in the EV charging business, we started our own family-run firm to make chargers that offer everything a user would want. We make products that set industry standards for design, user experience and build quality. Our decisions are influenced only by considering what is best for our products and for our customers. We are personally involved in every part of the business, from design to manufacturing.

Responsibilities Include:

Ideally you will have previous experience within a manufacturing environment, but we will consider applications from people who have worked in similar environments.

Assembling EV charges with all components

Ensuring all orders are met to our companies' standard of quality

Ensuring all safety and compliance procedures are maintained accurately and consistently

Complete quality checks and record results, reporting any non-conformances

Working with line managers to continuously improve processes and procedures

Maintaining and promoting a clean and organised work environment

Assisting with maintenance of equipment and cleaning as required

Contribute to meeting team and company-wide production targets, which make a real difference to our business and our customers

Overseeing the dispatch of products on time

Ensuring that packing and transportation meet a company's quality control

Checking dispatchers follow health and safety guidance

Liaising with the nominated good despatch company

Employee training

Following company regulations regarding health and safety

Using specialist computer systems pack and label the transportation of deliveries

Pay: 25,000.00-26,000.00 per year
