Trafford Park Based Label Company Require Production Operatives.

The working hours are 40 hours per week 7.30 a.m. - 4 p.m.

Job description :

Operate and maintain machinery Carry out safety checks Ensure the machine produces high quality products, runs smoothly and at capacity Utilise the equipment, ensuring the machines are functioning well Make adjustments to machinery when necessary to improve performance Perform quality control, follow reporting and recordkeeping procedures, and report problems to supervisor Prepare finished products ready for dispatch and monitor packing quality Monitor equipment and maintain a safe work environment Clean machinery and maintain cleanliness in work area Follow established rules and procedures
The ideal candidate should be able to demonstrate the following :

Previous machine minding experience in a manufacturing facility, or similar relevant experience Troubleshooting skills related to mechanical, pneumatic, electrical, or hydraulic issues Strong visual skills with a keen eye for detail Analytical and numerical skills: ability to perform mathematical calculations (add, subtract, multiply, divide) in different units of measurement Ability to follow written and oral instructions Ability to lift heavy equipment, to bend, and to stand or walk for long periods of time Ability to work in a team and "pitch in" whenever necessary

20 days annual leave increasing per year of service.
