We're looking for proactive individuals to join our team of Production Operatives.

Job Summary:



This is a busy role which will require you to have a keen eye for detail and good level of dexterity. The Production Operative is responsible for correctly assembling packs of lifesaving medical equipment, and inspecting medical packs in a cleanroom environment, ensuring compliance with quality, safety, and regulatory standards. The role supports the production line to meet daily manufacturing targets and maintain high product quality, ready for distribution to our key customers, including the NHS and various private health organisations.

Key Responsibilities:



Assemble and package medical packs according to approved procedures, work instructions, and batch records. Operate and monitor production equipment and machinery safely and efficiently. Maintain strict adherence to Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) and Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs). Perform in-process quality checks and report any defects or non-conformities. Maintain cleanliness of work area and ensure compliance with cleanroom protocols. Accurately complete production documentation and logbooks. Support continuous improvement and lean manufacturing initiatives. Report equipment malfunctions or safety concerns to the supervisor immediately. You will also assist with general tasks in the Production environment.

Qualifications and Skills:



High school diploma or equivalent; vocational or technical training is a plus. Prior experience in a manufacturing or cleanroom environment preferred. Knowledge of GMP, ISO 13485, or other quality systems is an advantage. Good attention to detail and manual dexterity. Ability to work in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment. Basic computer skills (e.g., for data entry or documentation). Physically able to stand for extended periods and perform repetitive tasks.

Working Conditions:



Work performed in a controlled cleanroom environment. Must wear personal protective equipment (PPE) and follow hygiene protocols. May involve standing for long hours. This role can be repetitive, so you would need to be focused and methodical in your approach.
Hours of work:

35.75 Hours per week Shift Pattern: 6.45am to 2.45pm Monday to Thursday and 6.45am to 12.45pm on a Friday

The role is offered on an ongoing temporary basis and is paid at the National Living Wage.

Pay: 7.55-12.21 per hour
