Production Operative

Our client are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Full-time Production Operative to join our manufacturing team. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in wire assembly, cutting and stripping of wires, and crimp and solder terminations. This role is crucial in ensuring the efficient and high-quality production of wire harnesses and electromechanical products.
Key Responsibilities

Perform wire assembly tasks with precision and efficiency Cut and strip wires to specified lengths and gauges Execute crimp and solder terminations with a high degree of accuracy Interpret and follow production drawings and documentation for wire/harness and electromechanical products Operate and maintain various production equipment and tools Adhere to all safety protocols and quality control standards Collaborate with team members to meet production targets and deadlines Identify and report any issues or discrepancies in the production process Participate in continuous improvement initiatives Maintain a clean and organised work area
Essential Skills:
IPC620 Class 3 experience preferred Excellent attention to detail Good communication and organisation skills Ability to accept constructive feedback and have the attitude to strive for continuous improvement Flexibility within the departmentHours of work:
Monday to Thursday - 8am - 4.30pmFriday - 8am - 12.30pm
