Gtechniq are manufacturers of advanced car, bike, marine and aviation care products.

We are a small, fast-growing team based in Upper Heyford, Northamptonshire (off Junction 16 of the M1).

Due to our continued expansion, we are currently recruiting for a full time Production Operative to join us, working 7am to 3pm, Monday to Friday (no weekends).

Duties will include:

Various production duties provided by the Production Team Leader, via a weekly plan to all associated lines and areas Completion of a line sheet for tasks carried out during the designated working area Reporting any quality control issues and seeking advice from the Team Leader to correct any anomalies that are encountered Recording totals for yield and waste clearly and correctly, so that the information can be uploaded to the MRP system to record the day's production figures Ensuring the picking and packing of correct items to build kits within different departments in the Production/Platinum areas Ensuring all assembling is completed to the required standards and timeframes set out by the Company/customer expectations Maintaining high attention to detail on all work and reporting any visible imperfections, so they can be rectified immediately Working to tight deadlines, to ensure on time in full every time Completing manual handling tasks within the shopfloor area as and when required General housekeeping duties to ensure good manufacturing practices are followed Adhering to all health and safety regulations and mandatory signage and to ensure near miss recordings are completed Assist with training/buddy-up service for all new members of staff

To be considered for this role you must have:

Knowledge/previous experience of working in a production environment Good timekeeping skills A can-do work ethic and enthusiastic attitude The ability to work well as an individual and as part of a team The ability to listen and act on instruction
