Role Overview

The individual is required to work as part of a team of operators in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

Key Duties and Responsibilities

Ability to work within the assembly, despatch and quality control departments within the manufacturing process. Willingness to follow the direction and supervision of the Production Manager and the relevant Department Coordinator. To operate equipment safely and in accordance with all instruction and guidelines, including health and safety

Health & Safety

Ensure to wear the PPE provided. Ensure health and safety regulations are being met to assure a safe working environment. Report all accidents, near misses and potentially hazardous errors to the Health and Safety Officer or Production Manager. Practice correct manual handling procedures. Partake in routine and preventative maintenance within the department and report findings to the department Team Leader or Production Manager. Practice good general housekeeping by ensuring the department is safe, clean, and tidy.

Experience/Training

Essential:

o Ability to understand basic manufacturing techniques and instructions.

o Attention to detail and good time management skills.

o Ability to lift up to approximately 25KG.

Prior experience is desirable but is not essential as full training will be given.

Days and hours of work

Compressed hours schedule Monday-Thursday 07.00-17.00 (38 hours/week)
Pay rate to be reviewed upon completion of 3 month probationary period.

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: From 12.21 per hour
