Our Business

Atlas Concrete Ltd are one of the leading experts in all types of pre-stressed and pre-cast concrete products, supplying both the agricultural and construction industries. Due to continuous growth, we are looking to expand our Silloth teams to keep up with customer demand for Hollowcore, TBeams, Wall Panels and Wetcast products.

14 per hour with overtime rate after 45 hours! Progression opportunities for candidates with the right attitude!

Duties include:

Working as part of a team to meet daily production targets; Thoroughly cleaning beds in preparation for the next pour; Setting up beds accurately to ensure high quality products to customer specifications; Cleaning aisles and ends of concrete beds to ensure a safe working environment; Using and maintaining machinery and tools in accordance with training and safe operating procedures to ensure highest standards of safety are maintained at all times; Being responsible for your own health and safety and that of others at all times.

Requirements:

This is a physically demanding position, therefore candidates should be physically fit; Strong focus on delivering quality products safely; A commitment to working as a team to meet daily production targets; Must have confirmation of reliable transport to our Silloth site; Must be reactive to feedback and receptive to change; Forklift experience is advantageous although in house training and certification will be arranged.
Successful candidates will be subject to a three month trial period to assess performance and reliability.

Pay: From 14.00 per hour

Expected hours: 47.5 per week
