Job Summary

Responsible for all production in the Aluminium, prep areas to ensure all production is completed on time and in good condition, also to cover when needed on all other stations.

Responsibilities

To ensure that all allocated tasks are completed as per Production Plan and meets with the manufacturing date.

To work to drawings/cutting lists.

Highlight specification issues to Supervisor/Manager.

Update Work Plan in a timely manner.

PPE to be worn at all times where appropriate.

Ensure all relevant paperwork is signed and distributed to correct area.

Daily/Weekly cleaning and housekeeping of all areas.

Maintenance:

Ensure entrusted Prep Area machinery is checked in accordance with the daily, weekly and monthly check sheet.

Ensure saws and saw bench area are cleaned at the end of each day, complete required basic maintenance.

Replace blades when required and enter the appropriate date on specific machine daily check sheet.

Ensure that Emergency STOP switches are operated when machinery is idle.

Housekeeping:

Ensure area of responsibility is kept clean and tidy in line with Health and Safety requirements and good working practices.

Health & Safety:

Inform Supervisor/Manager of any Health and Safety issues.

Ensure you follow Company HSE rules at all times

Wearing of correct PPE when carrying out your duties

Ensure you are trained and competent to operate the equipment.

SSOW safe systems of work is to be followed at all times and adhered too.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: From 12.33 per hour
