We have an exciting opportunity available working within our production team at our expanding site at our Masham site.

The successful candidate will be working in our production operations, where we produce casks, cans and bottles of our award-winning beers.

The candidate will work closely with other production functions, such as our Brewing, Maintenance, Quality and Distribution teams. The role offers the variation of working on multiple production lines.

Ideally you would have experience within a Production and Packaging environment. Be hardworking and committed to ensuring that expected standards are met across all aspects of the working environment, such as Health and Safety, Quality and Communications.

You should have a positive approach, as well as being an excellent confident communicator with an ability to solve problems in a practical manner.

You should be able to work in a safe, organised, and efficient manner. You will take pride in the end product and understand the role the production team has in delivering a great product to our customers.

Key responsibilities:

Production of all beers to relevant standards.

Maintain production, inventory, and housekeeping paperwork.

Operate production equipment.

Preparation of production lines including maintenance and changeovers.

Work safely.

Recording all data to production sheets, database, and business software.

Ensure cleanliness & sanitation of all equipment, tanks, and work areas to maintain consistent beer quality.

Have a passion for quality beer and quality workmanship.

Work well with co-workers.

Work safely within tight spaces and with various cleaning / sterilisation chemicals.

Other responsibilities:

A strong mechanical aptitude is a major plus.

All duties as outlined in the production shift duty checklist.

Work with and report any mechanical issues to the Shift Leader and Brewers.

Operate a forklift safely.

Assist other employees as necessary.

Willingness to work flexible schedules as required.

Measures of success:

Quality and Consistency of beer production.

Standards of cleanliness of production and all related areas.

Person specification:

Production training (preferred)

Production experience (preferred)

Chemical handling experience

Work and communicate well with staff

Organised and detail oriented.

Ability to problem solve and get assistance as needed.

Positive attitude

Hardworking, reliable, and dedicated.

Physically capable of lifting heavy weights.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: 12.21-15.54 per hour

Work Location: In person
