Job Description

Black Pudding is made using Pigs Blood, Beef or Pork fat, Cereal content and Herbs and Spices.

We are currently looking to recruit a Full-Time Operative to join our Production Team.

The successful candidate will be working for a food manufacturing company making Black and White puddings.

The right candidate will ideally have some experience of working in a food environment. However, enthusiasm and flexibility are of the upmost importance.

The job entails:

Mixing Ingredients following recipe sheets.

Filling the product, either tying up our traditional black puddings, or working on the clipper.

Cooking the products, in our boiler room.

Cleaning the department.

Following our policies and procedures in regards to Food Safety and Health and Safety.

The work is 37.5 hours per week, Mon - Fri, the hours are 8 hours per day with a unpaid break.

Shifts Between

6am and 5pm

Some Saturday work required at Over time rate.

The hourly rate starts at Minimum wage, however we offer equal pay for equal work so once fully trained the rate of pay will be 13.00

Level 2 Food Safety training will be provided. We have on site car parking and operate various bonus schemes.
