The Role




Inspect all new formes and stereos on arrival; report and record any damage. Accurately book new formes/stereos into Cobis and store them correctly. Organise and store spare knives in a uniformed and accessible manner. Conduct monthly tooling stock checks and highlight low levels proactively. Follow 5S standards and complete cleaning routines to maintain workplace organisation. Ensure tooling is always available to support uninterrupted machine production. Repair damaged formes/stereos and identify preventative actions. Manage ink returns - ensuring unused inks are checked and stored appropriately. Perform early shift electric truck inspections and report any faults. Monitor OMP for new inserts from production planners. Maintain a clean and safe working environment at all times. Carry out other reasonable duties as requested.

Key Skills, personal characteristics and qualifications


Essential:




Basic computer literacy - able to learn systems such as Cobis Strong communication skills across teams and levels Team player with the ability to work independently when needed Logical problem-solving skills Commitment to safety, quality, and continuous improvement

Desirable:




Experience in a manufacturing or logistics environment Familiarity with tooling, forme/stereo handling, or similar operations Understanding of customer-focused production standards
