Production Operative

to join our manufacturing team. While this role requires flexibility to work across all areas of the factory and wider production environment, the immediate requirement is within our

Sheet Metal Department

.

This role is The primary aim of Sheet Metal is to produce and supply all parts for our MVHR range, alongside our ever growing air brick range.

JOB DESCRIPTION:

Core Accountabilities:

Working and forming / punching mild steel and Zintec Will have to work to gauges ranging in thickness from 0.6mm to 2mm Operate a CNC Amada Punch and Brake Press, plus hand tools Inspect the quality of work that comes to the bench to make sure that all work meets the high standards set Following strict Health and Safety guidance, ensuring all PPE is worn where necessary Communicate effectively with the other members of the team Finish works to a high standard

Knowledge, skills and experience:

Press brakes experience is essential Must be able to read engineering drawings Experience of working in a busy workshop environment Previous experience of shift work & flexibility to change shift work with short notice Worked within the factory environment Previous experience with Raydan drawings would be beneficial GCSE (or equivalent) Attention to detail
