Role Overview

We are looking for a reliable and skilled

Production Operative

to join our busy signage production team. The ideal candidate will have experience working within the

signage or wide format print industry

, with a hands-on approach and a strong eye for detail.

You'll be responsible for producing, finishing, and preparing a range of printed and fabricated signage products, working closely with our design and installation teams to ensure projects are completed to Liberty Signs' high standards.

Key Responsibilities

Operate wide format printers, laminators, and cutting equipment. Prepare and finish graphics -- including trimming, weeding, laminating, and mounting to substrates such as foamex, dibond, and acrylic. Assist with fabrication and assembly of signs and graphics. Maintain a clean, organised, and safe production area. Ensure all work meets quality control standards and project deadlines. Support the installation team when required (occasional on-site work). Follow company processes, H&S requirements, and supervisor instructions.

Requirements

Previous experience in signage, print production, or a similar manufacturing environment. Confident using wide format print and finishing machinery (e.g., Roland, Mimaki, or HP printers). Knowledge of materials and application techniques for vinyl graphics and printed signage. Excellent attention to detail and a commitment to quality. Reliable, punctual, and able to work efficiently under pressure. Team player with a proactive attitude and willingness to learn new skills. Full UK driving licence (advantageous but not essential).
