Job Overview
We are seeking a detail-oriented and skilled production operative to join our specialist manufacturing team. The successful candidate will be responsible for the precise assembly of high-fidelity loudspeakers, ensuring top-tier build quality and acoustic performance in line with our brand standards.
Key Responsibilities
Assemble loudspeakers and associated components to exacting standards.
Follow technical drawings, wiring diagrams, and detailed work instructions.
Handle delicate components (e.g., drivers, crossovers, enclosures) with care and precision.
Conduct basic functional tests during and after assembly to ensure performance standards.
Maintain clean and organised workstations in line with health and safety regulations.
Work collaboratively with Quality Control and Engineering teams to resolve build issues.
Document build processes and suggest improvements for efficiency and consistency.
Participate in continuous improvement and lean manufacturing initiatives.
Key Skills
& Qualifications:
Proven experience in precision assembly and fine manufacturing.
Excellent hand-eye coordination and attention to detail.
Ability to interpret technical schematics and assembly instructions.
Proficient in the use of hand tools, soldering equipment, and small-scale assembly jigs.
Strong commitment to quality and craftsmanship.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Ability to lift and handle components of varying weights.
