Production Operative

Role Overview:



This role is based in a fast-paced factory environment and involves working across various stages of production, including assembly lines, sub-assembly, unit fitting, unloading products, wrapping, and heavy lifting.

Key Responsibilities:



Accurately pick & pack C-Class items to prepare 'fitting-kits' for the Production Assembly Teams & Customers, facilitating installation. Pack various kitchen-related items (i.e. doors, drawer boxes, shelves, etc...) for delivery to part-finished kitchen installations & customers. Barcode scan all items to maintain traceability of (1) location, & (2) delivery readiness (known internally as 'consolidation'). Accurately label all products. Conduct required Quality checks & maintain records. Progress-chase slower moving items. Comply with all filing & storage requirements of associated paperwork and parts. Replenish packaging materials to prevent stock-outs. Maintain a high standard of housekeeping & help improve workplace organisation. Actively seek & raise any Safety Observations or Incidents. Work under the guidance of the area Supervisor to complete all assigned duties within the defined customer delivery deadlines. Follow all defined procedures to ensure safe equipment operation. Support any improvement activities or business initiatives. Adhere to all relevant procedures and processes in line with the Company's standards and requirements. Ensure a "Right First Time" product is delivered to the customer, meeting or exceeding their expectations. Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work area.

Essential Skills:



Experience in manufacturing and warehousing / despatch. Background in fast-moving production environments. Strong communication skills. Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.

Working Hours:



A trial of annualised hours is currently in place which compromises of a low, standard and high pattern.

Low - Monday to Thursday 7am to 3pm

Standard - Monday to Wednesday 7am to 5pm and Thursday 7am to 4.30pm

High - Monday to Thursday 7am to 5pm and Friday 7am to 4pm

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: 24,570 per year
