From 12.73 per hour

Hours:

45 hours per week, Monday to Friday between the hours of 06:00-17:00

Location:

Kiln way, Swadlincote, DE11 8EA

Duties and Responsibilities

To operate a variety of machines including over head cranes, tube punch machines in order to produce a range of various pre galvanised fencing posts. Stack and band the products into specified quantities. Observe machine operations and adjust accordingly. Completion of all production documentation. Follow all operating instructions to ensure machine runs consistently.

Skills, Qualifications, Experience and Competencies

Experience of working with Steel in a manufacturing Environment. Capable of reading and understanding Engineering drawings. Good numeracy and literacy Skills. Ability to always remain professional. Good communication skills. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment. High Attention to detail. Ability to work as part of a team. Self-Motivator, ability to demonstrate initiative. Ability to plan, Organise and Prioritise , and work to tight deadlines. Flexible approach to working hours, as some additional hours and weekend work may be required Competent in using own initiative Have a general understanding of gates & railings Must be able to read and understand simple auto cad drawings Adhere to Health and Safety regulations Work within a small close team Competent of working on own when required A general understanding of workshop machines i.e saws / drills / metal work punch & crop Cutting / drilling / prep to completion ready for fabrication Excellent house keeping This list is not exhaustive
