Job Overview

We are looking for a dedicated and detail-oriented

Production Operatives

to support our weaving department. This role involves assisting in the setup, operation, and monitoring of warp preparation and weaving machinery, ensuring smooth production of woven textile products. You will work closely with technicians and supervisors to maintain production targets, fabric quality, and safe working conditions.

Key Responsibilities:

Assist with warp preparation, including beam loading, and tying-in yarns. Operate and monitor looms, ensuring continuous and efficient weaving. Report any defects, stoppages, or mechanical issues to Production Manager Maintain consistent checks on fabric quality during weaving, identifying broken ends, mispicks, or other flaws. Clean and maintain machines and work areas to ensure safe and efficient operation. Follow production schedules, job cards, and instructions provided by Manager. Record production output, downtime, and other required data accurately. Comply with all health, safety, and quality assurance procedures.

Qualifications & Skills:

Prior experience in a textile or manufacturing environment preferred. Basic and willingness to learn weaving operations. Ability to follow technical instructions and work with precision. Strong work ethic, attention to detail, and ability to work as part of a team. Physically fit; capable of standing for long periods and lifting/lowering beams or yarn packages

Preferred Experience:

Experience with loom operation or warp preparation machinery. Familiarity with textile quality standards or fabric inspection processes.

Work Environment:

Full-time, on-site position in a weaving/production facility. Monday - Friday
PPE provided; adherence to all safety protocols is mandatory

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: 12.55 per hour

Expected hours: 37.5 per week
