Job Description

Hertfordshire Diamond Products Ltd, based in Stevenage, specialises in the manufacturing and supplying of Diamond tipped core drill bits and saw blades, used throughout the UK and on a global scale.

We are looking to add an additional member of staff to join our busy, energetic Production team. Roles will be varied across the whole manufacturing process though we are particularly interested in candidates that have experience in one or more of the following:-

Metal Welding MIG or TIG Metal working with saws or lathes Paint spraying, to work in the finishing area, where we wash, paint and quality control all our drill that go out.
Other activities may include:-

Ensuring quality control checks Cutting back drills to be re tipped Helping with the stores team Spray painting drills Shot-blasting metal parts and drill bits Turning down metal plates on a lathe Welding and/or Brazing
As well as supporting the stores processes, assisting with deliveries and keeping on top of maintenance/housekeeping.

Experience in a manufacturing, production or use of industrial machinery is preferred, however is not required as full-training will be provided, most important is a can do attitude and want to learn so you will fit into our close knit team.

Pay: 25,500.00-26,500.00 per year
