Production Operative (with Joinery Duties)

Job Description



The company is currently seeking Production Operatives with joinery-related duties who can positively impact performance and support future growth. Previous experience in workshop joinery would be beneficial, but full training will be provided.

The Role



Work on thort Team Leads in achieving daily production output Assist in the production and assembly of kitchene factory floor to supp canopies, overmantels, specialist joinery Prepare and handle timber, MDF, and other materials used in door frontal manufacturing Operate workshop machinery and hand tools safely (e.g sanders, drills, general power tools) Read and follow work instructions, drawings, and measurements accurately Sand, finish, cut, assemble and inspect door frontal components to ensure high-quality output Work collaboratively with the production and quality teams to maintain consistency and meet deadlines Identify product defects and escalate quality concerns where required Maintain a clean, tidy, and safe working environment in line with company policies Work as part of a team to meet production demands and satisfy customer requirements Ensure housekeeping standards are consistently maintained Contribute towards meeting key area targets including: Work order completion dates Productivity Health, Safety & Environmental compliance Audit standards

The Person



Essential Requirements:



Strong communication skills and positive work ethic Ability to work on own initiative as well as part of a team Excellent attendance and timekeeping Ability to understand written and verbal English Ability to follow instructions accurately Good attention to detail and willingness to learn joinery processes

Desirable:



Experience in a factory, woodworking, or production environment Familiarity with hand tools, workshop machinery, or finishing techniques Joinery experience desirable but not essential as full training will be provided
Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: 12.21-13.59 per hour
