Production Operative - Finishing Operative

Monday to Thursday 0800-1630 , Friday0800- 1330

Wrexham

13.25 P.H

Tritech Group are manufacturing experts and suppliers of precision products to global Aerospace & Defence industry giants and to support our rapid growth we are recruiting for a range of positions across our UK facilities.

There is 4 roles available within the Finishing Department:

Weld Bay Administrator

Supports the daily operations of the weld bay by coordinating work orders, maintaining records, and liaising between production and quality teams. Ensures smooth workflow and accurate documentation with minimal hands-on welding involvement.

Requirements:

Strong organisational and administrative skills Good communication and coordination abilities Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook) Ability to work in a fast-paced production environment Attention to detail and accuracy in record-keeping

Experience:

Previous experience in an administrative or production support role (preferred) Familiarity with manufacturing or engineering environments is an advantage Experience using ERP or production tracking systems is beneficial

Linishing Operative

Prepares and finishes metal components by grinding and smoothing surfaces to meet required specifications. Ensures parts are ready for further processing or inspection with a high-quality finish.

Requirements:

Good hand-eye coordination and manual dexterity Ability to follow technical instructions and work to specifications Physically fit and able to perform repetitive tasks Awareness of health & safety procedures in an industrial setting

Experience:

Experience using linishing/grinding tools (preferred but not essential) Previous work in metal finishing or manufacturing is advantageous Training can be provided for the right candidate with the right attitude

Blasting Operative

Operates abrasive blasting equipment to clean and prepare metal surfaces. Removes contaminants and prepares components for coating, inspection, or further machining.

Requirements:

Comfortable working in a physically demanding and dusty environment Ability to wear PPE including respirators and coveralls Basic understanding of blasting equipment and processes Good time management and self-motivation

Experience:

Prior experience with shot blasting, sandblasting, or similar processes (preferred) Previous industrial or foundry experience is a plus On-the-job training available for candidates with suitable aptitude

Inspection Operative

Performs quality control checks on metal components using measuring tools and visual inspection methods. Ensures all parts meet engineering and customer standards before approval.

Requirements:

Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality Ability to read technical drawings and use measuring tools (e.g. verniers, micrometers) Good communication skills for reporting defects and liaising with other departments Understanding of ISO or quality standards is beneficial

Experience:

Previous experience in quality control or inspection (essential) Background in aerospace, precision engineering, or foundry work is advantageous Familiarity with visual and dimensional inspection techniques required

Salary: 13.25 PH

Annual Leave: 25 days plus 8 BH Pro-rata

Life Insurance: 2 x annual salary Death in Service
