Overview

We are looking for an experienced Production Operative to join our team, manufacturing bespoke timber fire doors and frames in our busy, fast paced factory. A basic understanding of timber, hand tools and wood based machinery is essential to the role, but appropriate machine and manual handling training will be provided. There is a lot of variety in the role - reporting directly to you your team leader you will be carrying out a wide range of tasks, using different machines throughout the production line. You will be required to work both as a team and alone, so good communication skills and a positive, proactive attitude to work are vital.

Responsibilities

Feed raw materials into production machinery Assemble goods on production lines Monitor production process Carry out basic quality checks Store goods and raw materials properly in our warehouse Use lifting equipment Pack goods to be shipped Maintain and clean work areas and equipment Follow company Health and Safety procedures.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: 12.50-14.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
