Production Machine Operator
Job Description
Here at Ripe Now we are as passionate about our people as we are about fresh produce! Due to continued company growth we are currently looking to recruit a Production Machine Operator for our busy Fresh Produce packing facility in Boston.
The role will involve:
Overseeing the smooth running of assigned production line, organising a continuous flow within this area.
Maintain standards of cleanliness & hygiene.
Meet targets & objectives set by the management team.
Promote health & safety.
Understanding of policies and procedures and to make sure they are being adhered to.
Maintaining factory procedures and standards to BRC requirement.
Maintaining Good Manufacturing Practices.
Team work with own team as well as other teams within the business.
Flexibility of working hours when required
The Role
You will manage the maintenance and performance of Production machinery to ensure continuous workflow within the Production area and minimise downtime. You will look after food safety and hygiene and monitor KPIs across the business, regularly checking in with your line manager.
You must have machine operator knowledge or be very keen to learn new skills. Our machinery is user friendly.
About you
You will have experience maintaining and operating machinery within an FMCG or Food environment. You will have excellent interpersonal and communication skills and a passion for success. You will be ambitious, looking to further your career and imbed yourself within the business.
