Job Description

As a Production Operative, you will play a crucial role in our lens manufacturing process. Your primary responsibility will be to ensure the accurate and timely picking and packing of orders, which are then dispatched to customers. Working in a fast-paced warehouse environment, you will be part of a dedicated team, contributing to the smooth operation of our supply chain.Pick and pack lens orders accurately and efficiently. Follow established procedures and protocols for order fulfilment. Maintain a clean and organised work area, ensuring a safe working environment. Collaborate with colleagues to ensure smooth workflow and meet production targets. Occasionally lift and move boxes weighing up to 20kg, adhering to health and safety guidelines. Ensure proper storage and handling of lenses, maintaining their quality and integrity. Assist in inventory management, keeping track of stock levels and reporting any discrepancies. Previous experience in a warehouse or manufacturing environment is desirable. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, managing multiple tasks simultaneously. Excellent attention to detail, ensuring accuracy in order fulfilment. Good communication skills for effective collaboration with the team. Willingness to work in a rotating shift pattern, including 9am-5pm and 12pm-8pm shifts. Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
