As a Production Operative, you'll be an integral part of our lens manufacturing journey, specifically in the Warehouse department. Your role is diverse, involving tasks like picking, packing, and auditing lenses, ensuring our production run smoothly and efficiently. It's a dynamic role, offering a chance to contribute to a crucial stage of our lens manufacturing process and be a part of our dedicated team.
Operate and oversee production equipment, ensuring a seamless lens manufacturing process.
Conduct quality control checks, identifying and reporting any lens defects promptly.
Handle and lift heavy materials, following health and safety guidelines.
Collaborate with the production team to enhance workflows and identify improvements.
Maintain a clean and safe work environment, adhering to company safety standards.
Accurately follow instructions and work orders to meet production targets.
Assist in inventory management, ensuring a steady supply of materials.
Previous experience in manufacturing or production is advantageous.
Ability to work in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.
Excellent attention to detail and a dedication to quality.
Good communication skills for effective team collaboration.
Basic computer literacy for data entry and record-keeping.
* Flexibility to work a rotating shift pattern, including Monday to Friday, 9 am-5 pm/12 pm-8 pm.
