Role Summary:
As a
Production Operator
, you will report to the Production Manager / Supervisor. We're looking for
Production Operators
to join both our
EMI
and
LSBU Production
teams. You'll play a key role in assembling precision components to meet customer demand while upholding our company's commitment to excellence.
Qualifications Required/Essential Skills:
Computer literacy and confidence using digital systems.
A strong background in teamwork and collaborative working.
Duties and Responsibilities (not exhaustive):
Assemble mechanical and electrical components to exacting specifications using technical documentation and the correct tools.
Ensure high standards of quality and delivery performance are met in line with customer expectations.
Maintain full traceability of parts by accurately completing shop order paperwork.
Communicate progress and raise any issues that may impact production timelines to your team lead.
Verify that equipment is properly maintained and within calibration--reporting any issues as needed.,
Follow all Health & Safety procedures to create and maintain a safe working environment.
Desirable Skills:
Preferably 5 GCSEs or equivalent, or prior experience in a manufacturing/production role.
Experience in detailed soldering is a plus.
