SMS - Smart Manufacturing Solutions are currently recruiting Production Operatives to join one of our established clients based in Consett, supporting 24-hour operations within the Automotive Industry.

We are looking for process-driven, reliable individuals who can work effectively within a fast-paced manufacturing environment while maintaining high standards of quality and safety.

Key Responsibilities

As a Production Operative, your duties may include (but are not limited to):

Working in accordance with health & safety regulations and standard operating procedures Operating manufacturing machinery safely and efficiently Quality checking, inspecting, and labelling finished products Maintaining good housekeeping standards Working within strict policies and procedures to meet customer requirements Ensuring all products consistently meet client quality standards and specifications Supporting and encouraging continuous improvement Accurately recording production data using internal applications to support effective reporting
Requirements:

Confident, enthusiastic, and reliable Punctual with a strong work ethic Able to follow processes with excellent attention to detail A good communicator and team player Proactive and self-motivated
Shift Patterns

Day Shift: 6:00am - 6:00pm, Monday to Wednesday Night Shift: 6:00pm - 6:00am, Monday to Thursday morning
Job Types: Full-time, Temp to perm

Pay: 12.29 per hour
