Job Description

Overall Purpose of The Role:

To produce/package product to the agreed specification within a specified timeframe and to a desired quality and standard.

Job Tasks and Duties:

Adhere and work towards the company core values.

Adhere to all company policies and procedures outlined in employee handbook.

Carrying out tasks assigned daily by the Production team, to help maintain the day to day running of the production area and ensure quality and maximum efficiency is achieved.

Effectively work with the people and resources on the line to ensure the most efficient production output.

Ensure where applicable that products are produced within the specification and weight as set out in a recipe/customer specification.

Ensure that shelf life and labelling requirements are accurate, within specification and legislation.

Ensure that you and other team members comply with quality and good manufacturing procedures (GMP).

Ensure that all production KPI's are achieved whether individual or team targets.

Help drive efficiencies within the line and department.

Effectively communicate with all team members on the line.

Ensure that the production area and other linked areas are always kept clean and tidy.

Ensure all orders are produced to the highest quality standard and within customer specification and timeframes.

Ensure stock is used in correct rotation, handled with care, and waste is kept to a minimum.

Feedback all quality issues to your direct Supervisor and / or Production Manager / Quality Department.

Continuously monitor the processes and offer ideas for improvement.

Ensure that all Hygiene and Health & Safety rules and procedures are followed by you and other team members

Adherence to PPE requirements, handwashing/sanitizing, chemical usage, fire procedure, machine safety

Liaise with your Supervisor / Manager if you have any concerns.

Pay: 12.21 per hour
