Metal Making - Continental Pattern:

2 days (7am-7pm) 2 nights (7pm-7am) 4 days off
(Continuous pattern including weekends and public holidays)

The Role



We are seeking a

hands-on, safety-conscious Production Operator

to join our dynamic manufacturing team. You'll be responsible for producing high-quality metals and alloys to precise customer specifications, ensuring full product traceability, and maintaining the highest standards of quality, environmental care, and health & safety.

This position involves operating in an

electrolytic rare earth metal production facility

, where full training will be provided in all aspects of electrolytic cell operation.

Key Responsibilities



Operate plant and equipment safely and efficiently to meet production targets. Follow Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and maintain accurate production records. Operate electrolytic cells -- including charging, maintaining, tapping, and rebuilding -- in line with company guidelines. Monitor and record process data accurately throughout production. Maintain a clean, organised work area to prevent contamination and maximise material use. Ensure clear identification and traceability of all materials and products. Package and label finished products neatly and correctly. Report equipment issues, material concerns, or safety hazards promptly. Support quality assurance by providing samples for laboratory analysis. Conduct routine maintenance checks and ensure consumable stock levels are maintained. Comply fully with Health, Safety, Environmental, and Quality policies.

About You



Experience in a

foundry environment

or handling

molten metals

is highly desirable. Strong awareness of

Health & Safety

and

Quality standards

. Good communication skills, with the ability to follow detailed written and verbal instructions. Excellent attention to detail and a proactive approach to maintaining standards. Good numerical and record-keeping skills. Flexible and reliable, with the ability to work rotating and continental shifts.
