Job Purpose

The Production Operative is responsible for supporting the day-to-day manufacturing processes on the production floor. This includes the preparation, assembly, packaging, and labelling of supplement products, ensuring compliance with health and safety standards and Good Manufacturing Practice (GMP) guidelines.

Key Responsibilities

Operate machinery and equipment safely and efficiently to manufacture products according to instructions. Measure, weigh, and prepare raw materials for production. Assemble and package products accurately and in a timely manner. Perform routine quality checks and report any non-conformities to the supervisor. Complete relevant batch documentation and maintain production records. Maintain cleanliness and hygiene of workstations in line with GMP and company policies. Follow health and safety procedures and wear required PPE at all times. Assist in loading/unloading goods and moving products within the facility as required. Support other production and warehouse tasks as directed by management.

Key Skills & Requirements

Previous experience in a manufacturing or production environment is preferred (especially in supplements, food, or pharmaceutical sectors). Understanding of GMP and health & safety regulations (training can be provided). Good attention to detail and the ability to follow written instructions. Physically fit and able to stand for extended periods and lift materials when required. Team player with a positive attitude and strong work ethic. Reliable, punctual, and committed to quality work.

Working Hours

Shift-based (Morning / Afternoon / Evening) Overtime and weekend shifts may be available depending on production demands.
