Vacancy: Production Operator

Location: 111 Westerhill Road, Bishopbriggs, G64 2QR

At CCL Design we design and manufacture a wide range of printed, functional and decorative products for our global customer base across electronics, automotive and industrial sectors.

Operating globally, our Glasgow team of designers, engineers and production staff, develop and manufacture highly complex decorative plastic components and assemblies for the automotive and consumer sectors.

Our Glasgow manufacturing site works with customers primarily within the automotive and consumer sectors.

We now have a vacancies for Production Operators reporting directly to the Production Supervisors. The role will be based in our facility in Bishopbriggs, Glasgow. The purpose of this position will be to part of a production team working with equipment and conducting quality checks, working in line with company standards, recording information and maintain a safe working environment.

Main duties and responsibilities:

Working with equipment

Report on internal systems

Inspection work

Carry out in process quality checks

Understand customer quality expectations

Understand defect categories / quality levels

Any other duties / tasks out with the scope of normal duties but within the employee's skill level

Maintain safe working practices / 5s standards

Comply with Health and safety

Qualifications, skills and experience:

Good communication skills

Willing to learn

Comfortable with basic numeracy

Problem solving

Good attention to detail

This is an entry level role and full training will be provided.

FURTHER INFORMATION:

The hours of work will be 37.5 hours per week working on a three-shift rotation Monday to Friday. Please note that flexibility will be required and shifts may change to suit the needs of the business and weekend additional hours may be required
