Job Summary:

Manufacturing Department

is looking for skilled and dedicated individuals to help us create secure products. Luminescence Sun Chemical Security has an exciting opportunity as an Production Operative within our Production facilities in Harlow, Essex.

Job Responsibilities:

As a member of our manufacturing team, you'll work in a small team of skilled operators, operate specialized machinery, ensure quality standards are met, and contribute to a process that demands precision, confidentiality, and innovation.

Requirements include:

Operate and monitor manufacturing equipment for production Conduct quality checks and ensure compliance with strict standards Maintain accurate production records and follow safety protocols Collaborate with engineering and quality assurance teams to optimize processes Handle sensitive materials with discretion and care Conform to all H&S requirements Operate manual handling equipment. Operator will assist other production areas as needed Cleaning equipment and surrounding floor area at the end of each working day.

Physical Requirements:

Stand or walk around production floor for long periods of time

Reach with hands and arms, and overhead above shoulders

Lift materials to make batches - manual handling equipment provided

Skills needed:

Experience in a manufacturing or production environment (preferable)

Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality

Ability to follow strict procedures and maintain confidentiality

Willingness to work in a controlled environment

Good communication skills

Flexibility to work shifts or overtime if required

Ability to distinguish colour

Basic math skills

Able to speak, understand and write in English

Ability to read and understand all SOP's as well as maintain working knowledge of all SOP's associated with the process

Must be able to work independently as well as in a team

Must be 18 or older

A minimum of 1 year experience in production or manufacturing environment is an asset but not essential.
