Due to the ongoing growth of our business, we now wish to enhance our fabulous Production Operatives teams. This is an exciting opportunity for the successful candidate to join Macsween Ltd., one of Scotland's best known and loved food brands!

Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Production Operator to join our team in a fast-paced food production environment. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in ensuring the efficient operation of production lines while adhering to strict food safety standards. This position requires a commitment to quality and safety, as well as the ability to work collaboratively within a team.

Duties

Operate and monitor production machinery and equipment, ensuring optimal performance. Follow established procedures for food production, including adherence to HACCP guidelines. Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the work area in accordance with food safety regulations. Record production data accurately, utilising basic maths skills for calculations as necessary. Collaborate with team members to meet production targets and maintain a safe working environment.

Experience

Previous experience in food production is highly desirable, particularly within a HACCP-compliant facility. Demonstrated knowledge of food safety practices and regulations. Strong attention to detail and ability to follow precise instructions. Basic mathematical skills for accurate data recording and calculations. Candidates should be proactive, adaptable, and willing to learn new skills in a dynamic work environment.
