Job Description
Roles & Responsibilities
Reporting to the Team Leader and working as part of a team to ensure maximum plant utilisation Operating heavy plant & machinery Forklift truck driving, over-head crane & quality control Ensuring compliance with strict HSE regulations & company rules Adhering to workplace standards Ensuring that all work carried out conforms to the requirements of Health and Safety, Quality, Environmental and Energy policies. Ensuring compliance with PPE standards at all times e.g. air-flow helmets, P3 masks, heavy overalls, nitrile gloves, safety glasses, ear plugs etc. Maintain high standards of operational performance, housekeeping, HSE etc. Give blood lead sampling as required to monitor blood lead levels. Ability to learn quickly and undertake training as required Liaise with other process workers, Team Leaders and other personnel in any relevant department to ensure smooth running of the area. Undertake any duties allocated by the Team Leader, Shift Manager or other senior managers as and when required.
Experience
Preferably have general experience in working in an industrial manufacturing environment Knowledge of heavy plant machinery Driving experience of industrial vehicles A strong understanding of the importance of & commitment towards upholding HSE compliance * Excellent timekeeping and attendance
