Production Operator

Keeko Kids are looking for experienced Production Operators to work in our Crayon Manufacturing Department.

You will be Enthusiastic and Flexible working within a small team in a fast paced manufacturing environment.

Reporting to the Operations Manager you will be responsible for day to day operation of our Crayon Mould machines, labelling machines and packing of product.

You will ensure that you meet all statutory requirements, working in accordance with all Health and Safety policies and procedures and quality standards.

You will also ensure production targets are met to enable timely delivery of products required to meet customer expectations.

You should be mechanically minded and drive machine performance to be as efficient as possible.

Responsibilities

Follow Operating Procedures to mix materials and operate Crayon Moulds to achieve daily targets. Prepare and Operate Labelling Machines to achieve daily targets. Pack product & carry out General duties. Keeping accurate records of output and issues on daily target sheet. Maintain a clean machine and work area. Carry out Daily, Weekly & Monthly machine maintenance.

Skill/Requirements

Flexible & willing to learn new skills. Team Player, but able to use initiative. Self-Motivated with a results driven approach. Knowledge and experience of various types of production machinery and tools. Mechanically Minded. Good Communication. Organised and Methodical. Able to develop and contribute within a growing organisation.

Expected Working Hours

Monday to Thursday 7.00am to 5.00pm (38 Hours)
