The role covers operations for three brands, Scigrip for Structural Adhesives, Integra for Surfacing Adhesives and Unika covering kitchen products. To work as a team member under the supervision of team leader or manager, carrying out tasks as required in compliance with IPS Adhesives EHS and Quality Standards. You will play a key role is maintaining key metrics such as right first time, on time in full performance and minimizing customer complaints.
Your role as factory operator includes:



Assessing tasks for risks and implementing control measures Staging materials prior to batch production Checking Raw Material approval / shelf life status prior to use Accurately weighing Raw Materials and Mixtures Following standard process instructions to minimize batch variance. Accurately completing all relevant paperwork Feeding batches of raw materials into production machinery Operating production line equipment, for example, a high-speed disperser, filling lines, etc.
Set up, operate, and clean up filling machines.

Checks cartridges for proper fill level/piston depth

Monitoring the production process and carrying out basic batch testing using standard QC test methods Finishing products, for example, applying labels and packing goods ready for dispatch Storing goods and raw materials in the yard or warehouse Using lifting equipment and forklift trucks Cleaning and maintaining work areas, machinery and equipment

Reporting any problems during the shift to supervisors including any maintenance issues

Education and/or Work Experience Requirements:

The ability to work quickly and methodically Good team working skills The ability to follow instructions An awareness of environment, health and safety issues A willingness to work flexibly Good verbal and written communication skills, including ability to effectively communicate with internal customers Good computer skills (MS Office - Word, Excel and Outlook) Must be able to work under pressure and meet deadlines, while maintaining a positive attitude
Ability to work independently and to carry out batch processing to completion within parameters of instructions given, prescribed routines, and standard accepted practices
