We are seeking to recruit Production Operatives to join our team in the Manufacturing and Packaging process on the Day shift (08:00 - 16:30). In this fast-paced environment, you will complete various manual tasks to ensure smooth operations and help meet production targets.
Activities will include:
Participate in all aspects of manufacturing/packaging process operations.
Weighing, packing and labelling of finished goods ready for dispatch.
Carrying out a variety of physical Manual Handling tasks as instructed, lifting equipment and products from 5kg up to 25kg.
Ensuring excellent manufacturing practice through maintaining a Safe, Healthy and Hygienic work place.
Taking responsibility for the area that you work in and the plant in general, this includes good housekeeping.
Ensure product quality.
Qualifications/Requirements:
Must have fluent spoken and written skills in English.
Excellent communications skills.
Computer literate (desired).
Ability to work well within a team environment.
Ability to work accurately and methodically.
Self-motivated and uses initiative.
Flexible approach to duties and tasks.
Responsible for complying with food safety, food security, quality, HACCAP, Allergen Regulations.
Responsible for ensuring the quality and integrity of the product run on the lines based on specifications.
Ability to adhere to the strictest levels of hygiene and cleanliness and to perform all Health, Safety Rules and Regulations (Good Manufacturing Practices).
Essential Criteria:
Readiness to learn and adhere to Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) as you become part of a highly specialized team. xcellent attention to detail and accuracy in data recording.
Ability to follow written instructions.
