The Kanthal Product Area specialises in heating alloys, elements, modules and systems for industrial heating and high temperature applications. Primary markets are the semiconductor, solar, glass, chemical and petrochemical industries, in which a high level of expertise and reliability are needed in the delivery of industrial heat.

We are now looking for a dayshift Works Operator (Assembly) to join our diverse and talented team in Kanthal, providing world class support to the Production Department.

This is a dayshift role working Monday to Friday.

Your role



You will be responsible for assembling components and products according to SOP's and quality standards. You will operate tools and machinery safely, follow detailed work instructions, and ensure that all items meet required quality checks. Maintaining a clean and organised workstation, adhering to safety protocols, and collaborating effectively with team members are key parts of your role. You will also report any issues promptly and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives to support efficient production flow.

Key responsibilities for this role:

Operate machinery and equipment safely and efficiently. Assemble components by putting together parts and subassemblies according to specifications and work instruction Maintain all safety standards in line with 5s, SOP's and H&S requirements. Undertake training as required. Check and complete all work to ensure accuracy and compliance. Communicate effectively with team members and other departments to ensure smooth workflow. Support general production duties as required.

About you



Ideally you will have previous experience in a manufacturing or production environment, but training can be provided. You will have strong attention to detail, the ability to adapt quickly and good communication and teamwork skills. A minimum of basic IT skills is required.
