Job Description

Wolf Components is a manufacturer of mattress pocket springs for the bedding industry based in a modern facility in Rotherham. The business provides spring components to a range of leading bedding companies using the latest efficient CNC manufacturing processes to deliver a quality product.

We are currently seeking reliable and motivated Roll Pack Operators to join our production team. This role plays a vital part in our packaging process, ensuring products are safely and correctly paced to specification using specialist roll pack machinery.

Key Responsibilities include:

Operate roll pack machinery to package mattress pocket spring units

Ensure products are packed accurately according to specifications

Perform quality checks and product testing as part of the QA process

Accurately record production and testing data

Follow technical documentation and work processes

Meet production deadlines while maintaining quality and safety standards

The successful candidate must have:

Previous experience in the bedding or spring manufacturing industry is preferred but not essential as full training will be provided.

Physically fit and capable of manual handling and lifting

Strong awareness of Health & Safety

Good numeracy and literacy skills

Reliable, punctual and proactive with a strong work ethic

Ability to work independently and as part of a team

Positive attitude with a willingness to learn and develop new skills

Salary

Starting salary of 26,666.64 per annum, dependent on skills and experience and paid monthly. Overtime often available in peak periods. Company health scheme (after 1 years service), workwear, pension, discretionary company sick pay (after 5 years' service) and car parking are provided.

Hours

The Company works on a 3 x 8-hour rotating shift pattern (Days 5.45am-2pm / Nights 9.45pm-6am / Afters 1.45pm-10pm) with some fixed holidays.
