PRODUCTION OPERATOR - PU MOULDER

Job Brief:

Clifton Rubber is a manufacturer of Rubber and Polyurethane components, supplying companies in various industries worldwide.

We are currently recruiting for a production operator to join our busy production team based in St Ives, Cambridgeshire. The operator will be responsible for operating polyurethane moulding equipment to produce high quality polyurethane components.

Key Responsibilities and Duties:

Support to deliver the manufacturing department's daily production plan.

Operate various plant/equipment and carry out routine basic maintenance.

Produce high quality parts and be responsible for checking the quality of parts being produced.

Work with other operators to carry out start up procedures, ensuring good manufacturing, housekeeping, hygiene, and health and safety standards throughout production.

Monitor product quality, highlighting non-conformance and taking appropriate corrective action.

Complete all documentation, ensuring up to date and available.

Take reasonable care for the health, safety and welfare of themselves and others.

Carry out any other duties that are within the employee's skills and abilities whenever reasonably instructed.

Key Skills, Qualifications & Experience:

A driven and enthusiastic individual with good time management skills.

Ability to assist in solving production problems.

Communicates competently and confidently in a variety of situations including one to one and team settings.

Up to date fork truck licence would be beneficial but not essential.

- 8am to 4:30pm day shift Monday to Friday

- 20 Days Annual Leave plus Bank Holidays
